Sri Lanka Women to clash with India Women in Asia Cup Finals tomorrow (X.com)
For one last time in this 2024 Women's Asia Cup tournament, Indian Women will face Sri Lanka Women in the mega finale to stake claim on the ultimate trophy. The final will go on floors on July 28 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium from 3.00 PM onwards.

The Indian Women cricket team led by Harmanpreet Kaur has been a dominant force in the tournament, winning all of the four games against Pakistan, UAE, Nepal and Bangladesh so far.
There has been a complete dominance in both departments and the same control was on display in the semi-final against Bangladesh as well as India won the one-sided contest by 10 wickets.
Renuka Singh and Radha Yadav's 3-wicket haul each rattled Bangladesh to a lowly 80 runs total in the first innings. Needless to say, Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana wrapped up the cakewalk chase in just 11 overs to qualify for the finals.
Still, IND-W cannot make the mistake of taking SL-W for granted, and Kaur must ensure her squad is fired up with the same energy and intent on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Women had to fight tooth and nail with Pakistan Women to claim the final berth. In a 141 run chase, the host nation stumbled with two quick wickets before legendary captain Chamari Athapaththu scored a gritty half century to take her team through.
That being said, SL-W have to be careful with their batting, as Indian spinners would walk all over them if they lower their guard.
The opener, especially, has to take responsibility as Athapaththu cannot come to the rescue all the time.
Regardless, Sri Lanka has been equally competitive in this tournament and is expected to give a tough fight for the title run to India Women.
