Australian cricketer Matthew Wade and his wife Julia were blessed with a newborn baby on February 20. However, the couple shared the news with their fans and followers roughly a month later through an Instagram post, where they shared pictures of their child alongside a heartfelt caption.

The Gujarat Titans franchise also welcomed Wade junior with a heartwarming post on their social media accounts.

Matthew Wade is set to represent the Gujarat Titans franchise in the forthcoming IPL 2024 season. The 36-year-old Australian cricketer was retained by the Titans management back in November 2023 during the IPL 2024 retention phase.

Despite his impending commitment, Wade has confirmed that he is set to miss the team’s opening match of the tournament as he has committed himself to play the Sheffield Shield final for Tasmania.

While the Sheffield Shield 2023-24 final is set to be played between Tasmania and Western Australia at the WACA from March 21 onwards till March 25; Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans team will be commencing their IPL 2024 campaign on March 24 against Mumbai Indians.
