Ishan Kishan has joined the Mumbai Indians camp ahead of the upcoming IPL 2024 season. On March 13, roughly a week before the launch of the much-awaited T20 event, the Mumbai Indians franchise welcomed the dashing Indian wicketkeeper-batsman by sharing a rather spooky yet hilarious video on social media accounts.

Ishan Kishan joins MI, gets spooked by himself

Ishan Kishan, recently snubbed from BCCI's contract list, is set to make his return to competitive cricket through the forthcoming IPL 2024 season for Mumbai Indians. Joining their training camp on March 13, the franchise welcomed him by sharing an amusing footage on their social media accounts.

In a 36-second video, Ishan can be seen making his way to his team hotel room while seemingly ignoring the door sign that read 'Darna Mana Hai' (Fear is not allowed!).

As part of a hilarious skit, the cricketer gets spooked by an 'alternate version' of himself he sees in the mirror while playing the 'bottle flip' game.

Ishan Kishan will enter the IPL 2024 season for Mumbai Indians after a tumultuous couple of months.

After opting himself out of the Test series in South Africa last December, citing personal reasons, the 25-year-old was sidelined by the selectors for India's home T20I series against Afghanistan and the Test series against England.

Moreover, Ishan Kishan was also snubbed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from their central contract list.

Regardless, he is currently slated to feature in the Mumbai Indians setup under the leadership of Hardik Pandya. As per the first couple of weeks' worth of Mumbai Indians IPL 2024 schedule released by the BCCI, they will be facing Gujarat Titans for their first match of the tournament on March 24.
