Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana has made her first public appearance just weeks after calling off her wedding with music composer Palash Muchhal. She stepped out with her brother, Shravan, with a mask and avoided public interaction.

Smriti and Palash were supposed to get married on November 23, but the ceremony was postponed and later cancelled, leading to huge speculation online.

Smriti Mandhana spotted at Delhi airport after wedding drama

Meanwhile, on December 10, Smriti Mandhana was spotted at the Delhi airport, marking her first outing since the shocking announcement.

Dressed in casual denim jeans and a blue sweater and wearing a mask, the cricketer appeared calm as paparazzi greeted her. She turned briefly to acknowledge them before getting into her car and leaving.

Her appearance has already gone viral, especially because fans noticed that she was not wearing her engagement ring, something many interpreted as a clear sign that she is ready to move forward.

The situation around the cancelled wedding has been filled with rumours. After the initial delay due to health concerns involving Smriti’s father and then Palash himself, reports later claimed that the music composer had allegedly cheated on Smriti with their wedding choreographer.

While neither Smriti Mandhana nor Palash Muchhal has confirmed these allegations, the gossip only grew louder.
