Team India's historic triumph at the T20 World Cup 2024, ending the Men In Blue's 17-year wait for an ICC trophy, is a moment of immense pride and excitement for the entire nation.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) felicitated the entire team with a hefty sum of INR 125 crores at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. In addition, the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded $2.45 million to BCCI for successfully planting the Indian flag in Barbados.

Moreover, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, has announced an 11 crore prize for the Indian contingent.

While the money bestowed by ICC has been given to BCCI, the question of whether it will be divided amongst players or remain with the cricket council is a matter of intrigue. However, each player will receive a fixed amount of money for their contribution to the Indian cricket team during the tournament.

How Much Will Hardik Pandya Get After Winning T20 World Cup 2024?

As per reports, if the money awarded by the Maharashtra Government is divided equally amongst the 15 members of the team, then Hardik Pandya will be getting INR 5,73,33,333 following the big victory of Team India.

Moreover, the prize pool extends to the entire 42-member contingent that supported the team throughout the tournament, the support staff and reserves.

Each of the 15 main players, will receive Rs 5 crore, while the four reserve players — Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed — will be awarded Rs 1 crore each.
