India spinner Kuldeep Yadav is on cloud nine as the left-arm chinaman received a grand welcome upon his return to Kanpur. In the latest events, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has felicitated the left-arm chinaman for his performance in T20 World Cup 2024.
Kuldeep was instrumental in India's T20 World Cup triumph as he missed the group stage games but returned for the Super 8 and knock-out stages. The left-arm chinaman took ten wickets in five games.

In the latest events, UP CM Yogi Adityanath posted a photo with Yadav from his government residence and presented him with a memento. He also took to Twitter to announce the same and praised Kuldeep.
"Today, a courtesy meeting was held with Mr. Kuldeep Yadav, member of the T-20 World Cup 2024 winning Indian cricket team, at my government residence in Lucknow," tweeted UP CM.
Kuldeep has been busy ever since returning to Kanpur because of his media interactions. Recently, Yadav hinted that he might get married soon and also opened up on the T20 World Cup win where he dedicated the trophy to Rohit Sharma.
Kuldeep is not the only player to be felicitated as other star players have also received grand welcome upon their return to home states. Notably, Maharastra government also announced 11 crore prize money for the Indian team.
