Soaring high on the T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, the 'next-gen' is on their Mission to conquer Zimbabwe in the currently underway five-match series at the Harare Sports Club, Harare.

However, Captain Gill's dilemma deepens now that both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube have reached Zimbabwe after celebrating India's T20 WC success at Barbados.
This puts a lot of questions in place: A) Will Shubman Gill drop the run-machine Abhishek Sharma to incorporate Yashasvi Jaiswal? B) Will Ruturaj Gaikwad be dropped so that Abhishek-Jaiswal can open and Gill can bat at No.3? or C) Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube will not be picked in the Playing XI?
After a very long time, the excellent form of batters will be a sign of trouble for Gill and coach VVS Laxman, considering that Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dube will all be up for selection in the IND vs ZIM 3rd T20I slated to take place on Wednesday.
It's worth noting the meteoric rise of star Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has accumulated an impressive 502 runs from his 17 T20Is since his debut for India in August 2023. His record includes one century and four fifties.
