On April 30, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Rohit Sharma-led side for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, with Hardik Pandya appointed as the vice-captain.

The squad has certain names, i.e. Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja to strengthen the team line-up.  

It includes prominent faces - Yashasvi Jaiswal Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube, which would compliment the experienced pros.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj and Arshdeep Singh are the specialist bowlers in the squad. Shubhman Gill , Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan and Rinku Singh have been included as travelling reserves.
