Yashasvi Jaiswal enjoyed a breakthrough season in the IPL last year, scoring 625 runs across 14 matches for Rajasthan Royals, with an average of 48 and a striking rate of 163.3, which earned him a India call up.

Afterward, he made his T20I and Test debut for India, and has done incredibly well in both formats. He enters the IPL after amassing over 700 runs in the recent five-match Test series against England. He was the highest run-getter in the series.
