Chennai Super Kings, the five-time champions have finally some good news ahead of IPL 2024 as Mustafizur Rahman, who suffered a calf injury in the 3rd ODI is fit and is all set to join CSK camp. 

The Bangladesh pacer has posted on his social media handle X, that he is all set to leave for Chennai, and after being carried out of the ground on stretcher on Monday. However, the injury that seemed quite severe at that time, has turned out to be not a big issue and it seems that the Fizz will be available for the very first game between CSK and RCB.


CSK are already dealing with couple of injury issues as Devon Conway is still not fully fit and there are doubts over the fitness of Matheesha Pathirana as well.

Mustafizur was part of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023 and was bought at his base price of 1.5 Crore by CSK in the IPL 2024 auction. CSK are the defending champions as well and have brought in quality NZ players like Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell to boost their batting line-up after the retirement of Ambati Rayudu.
