In a heartwarming moment for the cricketing world, Sir Wesley Hall, the legendary West Indian fast bowler, met Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli and presented him with a copy of his book.

Indian cricket team remained unbeaten in the USA leg of the 2024 T20 World Cup and advanced to the Super 8 stage accordingly. For the next round of the mega tournament, the men in blue travelled to the West Indies.

India is scheduled to play Afghanistan in the first Group 1 game of the Super 8 round tomorrow at Kensington Oval ground in Barbados.

That said, ahead of the big clash between two in-form Asian countries, Indian legend Virat Kohli made former West Indies great Sir Wesley Hall's day after an intense net practice session.

Sir Wesley Hall, known for his fearsome pace and formidable presence on the cricket field during the 90's, has always been a revered figure in the cricketing world. He met Kohli in the dugout and gifted him his autobiography book.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli humbly greeted the former legend and posed for a photo while congratulating Hall for publishing his book.

Indeed, the meeting between these two cricketing giants was a momentous occasion that bridged the gap between the rich history of West Indies cricket and Indian cricket.

Virat Kohli's form in this 2024 T20 World Cup has been hideous as he was dismissed off single-digit scores in all the group games as an opener.

It remains to be seen if Rohit Sharma drops him down to no.3, which has been Kohli's regular spot for years. If this happens, Yashasvi Jaiswal could come in as an opener alongside Rohit.
