Virat Kohli is facing criticism after failing to make an impact in his first three innings of the T20 World Cup. Some fans are questioning his preparation for the tournament, noting that he joined the squad late after finishing the IPL.

OC's correspondent, Vimal Kumar - who is travelling with the team in the USA - about Virat Kohli's stance on the 'outside noise' and his preparation for major tournaments.

Some fan critics claim Kohli wasn't visible at practice sessions and even questioned how much he practiced before the games. Kohli found this question odd, responding, "Nowadays, how much you practice before a match also gets counted?"

Kohli took a break from cricket before the IPL but returned in sublime form, scoring 741 runs in the tournament. He was clearly practicing to be ready for the bigger stages.

The fan also mentioned Kohli's last-minute preparation for the South African series, known for its challenging batting conditions.

Kohli joined the squad late due to personal reasons, practiced for just three hours the day before the match, and emerged as the best player in the Indian squad. This, the fan added, demonstrates the kind of exceptional player Kohli is.

The OC correspondent also reminded that Indian fans need not worry about Virat Kohli unless it is a semi final or final.

India will face Canada in the last group game of T20 World Cup. India had won the 3 games in the group and qualified for the super eight round. India's game vs Australia is already scheduled as per seeding on June 24th.
