Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has openly criticised PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi after the team failed to qualify for the Super Eights of the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Following Pakistan's premature exit from the World Cup, the board and the team have been the target of much criticism from legends, media, and fans. One prominent critic has been Latif, who raised his concern about team unity after coach Gary Kirsten's comments went viral.

The 55-year-old compared the team's performances to those in previous editions and called out the players' attitudes on and off the field.

"If you go back in time, we played two World Cups, the one in Dubai and one in Australia, the team was almost the same, barring 3-4 changes. The attitude seems to have changed this time around. Back in time, players were united. The players who are supposed to make the players play properly are missing," said Latif.

He also blamed PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi for not giving the players enough time to fine-tune their skills before the mega event.

"When there is a change in the higher authority, the coaching staff changes as well. It shouldn't be like that, the dressing room should remain stable. All the cricket boards, especially the Test-playing nations have prepared well for the T20 World Cup, except Pakistan. Education plays an important part that who is your chairman, who is he talking to," he added.

Rashid Latif, who discussed all this on his YouTube channel, represented Pakistan in 37 Tests and 166 ODIs between 1992 and 2003, scoring over 3000 international runs, including 150 in Tests. He also has a remarkable 350 dismissals as a keeper to his name.
