Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill seem to have enriched their great bond during the ICC World Cup 2023. The masterful Indian batting legend and his mighty promising successor have shared a heartening stand on and off the field, which is evident in how the duo has performed in partnerships and been with each other while training.

No Indian fielding and training session is short of Kohli interacting in fun and humour with his younger teammate, creating a healthy space for him to expand his wings and flourish on the cricket field for India.

Kohli has been a wonderful senior pro within the Indian set-up, perennially willing to help and guide aspiring youngsters. Having identified him as a special talent, the modern-day giant has gone the extra mile in ensuring Gill has risen smoothly at this level.

The prodigious batting talent would be the first to admit how much of an influence Kohli has been in his journey, acting as a legendary figure at the other end and also a strong confidant for inputs apart from being a forever inspirational athlete from a fitness perspective.

Usually, it has been Kohli taking fun at the expense of Gill by pulling his leg during matches and training sessions. However, Gill amusingly decided to have his own moment of humour with the great cricketer on Sunday (November 12) when he scared Kohli with a flying kick exercise drill.

Training his legs at practice just prior to India's final league stage encounter of the World Cup 2023 in Bangalore, Gill extended his flying kick to the spot where Kohli was facing the throwdowns and scared the legend as he realised his teammate could almost hit his back.

As Kohli got scared, Gill funnily changed direction in a clip that has been going viral on social media ever since the conclusion of India's massive victory at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
