The IPL 2024 is all set to unfold on 22nd of March and the excitement around the tournament is catching up fire quite rapidly. Every day players from different nationalities and backgrounds are joining their respective teams and one among them is Shimron Hetmyer, the charismatic cricketer from Caribbean who will has played the finisher role for RR in last few years to perfection.

Rajasthan Royals on their official X handle, welcomes Shimron Hetmyer in a unique style inspired by Shah Rukh Khan's Mohabbatein and Baazigar movies. The left-handed batter from Guyana has not been regular in the West Indies side in the last year or so, but his talent and skills are unquestionable, and in the last couple of seasons he has scored runs at a strike rate of over 150 for RR.

In a video that has been released by RR, they have emphasised on the Hetmyer's ability to finish the games, flexibility in batting position and ability to change the game with his power-hitting skills.

He would be itching to deliver again this season and with T20 World Cup 2024 just around the corner, he also has a point to prove. Interestingly, West Indies' T20I captain Rovman Powell is also part of RR squad in IPL 2024 and if they both fire in unison, RR could end up on the right side of the result more often than not.
