Lucknow Super Giants’ fielding coach, Jonty Rhodes, still holds a special place in the hearts of Indian cricket fans. His love for India and its culture remains at the top always. 

Rhodes, famous for his out-of-the-box fielding drills as a coach, found a cool way to shake off the training ground blues and was spotted reaching the practice session ground in a unique way.

In a video posted by Lucknow Super Giants on the social media platform 'X', Rhodes can be seen riding a Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 to the ground for the team's training.

Jonty Rhodes has been the fielding coach for Lucknow Super Giants since their debut in 2022, and his contract has been extended for another year.

The IPL 2024 season didn't kick off as planned for Lucknow Super Giants, as they stumbled to a loss against Rajasthan Royals in their first game at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. 

Captain Rahul and Vice-captain Pooran were the only ones who really tried in the run chase. The others were nowhere to be found, and LSG paid the price. 

Rahul managed 58 off 44 balls, with four fours and a couple of maximums, and Pooran's unbeaten 64 off 44 balls featured four boundaries and four sixes. 

Meanwhile, KL Rahul-led side is gearing up to welcome Punjab Kings for their inaugural home game of the season at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
