'I Was Not Wrong...' - Suryakumar Yadav's Special Message For Riyan Parag

India's star batter, Suryakumar Yadav, heaped praise on Rajasthan Royals (RR)'s batter Riyan Parag after his magnificent knock against Delhi Capitals in the ongoing match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. 

Suryakumar narrated a story from the NCA where he had an encounter with Riyan Parag and revealed how Riyan was completely focused on his recovery with great discipline. SKY also mentioned that he informed one of the coaches that Riyan is a changed guy. 

During the ongoing Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals clash, Suryakumar took to Twitter to appreciate Riyan Parag.

“Met a guy at NCA few weeks ago. He came with a slight niggle. Completely focused on his recovery and with great discipline working on his skills. And I was not wrong to tell that to one of the coaches there ‘He is a changed guy’ RIYAN PARAG 2.0 🔥 Watch out.”

Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first. Although they started well, the Riyan Parag show ensured that Rajasthan Royals ended with 185 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets in the allocated 20 overs. 

The 22-year-old finished with an unbeaten 84 runs from 45 balls, aided by seven boundaries and six maximums. Apart from him, R Ashwin, Dhurv Jurel, and Shimron Hetmyer chipped in with small contributions with the bat.
