The rain continued to play spoilsport in the ongoing The Hundred 2023 Men competition, where the encounter between London Spirit and Southern Brave was abandoned on Tuesday evening at Lord's.

Southern Brave batted for 26 balls, scored 34 runs, and lost three wickets, after Spirit opted to bowl under overcast conditions. Despite the rain-marred match, the tie did have a highlight in the form of London's overseas player Daniel Worrall.

Worrall, who plays for South Australia, took a brilliant catch to dismiss New Zealand's Devon Conway for a three-ball duck, who is turning up for Southern Brave.

The 32-year-old is a professional darts player as well, and that showed in his lighting fast reaction to hold on to a sharp catch and bowl chance presented by Conway in the seventh ball of the Brave's innings.

With the match being called off, both clubs shared one point each. Southern Brave are placed sixth in the points table, while London Spirits occupy the seventh position. Brave takes on Welsh Fire and Spirit's clash against Trent Rockets in a doubleheader Saturday.
