Delhi Capitals spinner Vipraj Nigam excelled with the ball against RCB in match 24 of the IPL 2025 season in Bengaluru. The young leg-spinner picked up the important wickets of Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya to claim match-winning figures of 2-18 from his four overs.

After the match, Nigam went to the RCB dressing room and caught up with Kohli. The two cricketers seemingly engaged in an intense cricketing conversation with each other, as per a short video shared by the Capitals youngster. 

Both Nigam and Virat Kohli even posed for a click together, indicating that the young spinner picked up some valuable insights from the maestro.

Vipraj Nigam shares his interaction with Virat Kohli

A day after Delhi Capitals’ huge win over RCB in Bengaluru, leg-spinner Vipraj Nigam shared his post-match interaction with Virat Kohli on his social media accounts. Sharing a video of their meeting, the youngster also posted a couple of clicks with the legendary RCB veteran. In the caption, Nigam wrote:

“It’s not a destination, it’s a Journey”


Vipraj Nigam (2-18) and his senior spin mate Kuldeep Yadav (2-17) both picked up two wickets each as Delhi Capitals restricted the RCB to 163-7 from 20 overs.

In the run-chase, the Capitals slipped to 10-2, and eventually to 58-4 with the batting failures of Faf du Plessis, Jake Fraser McGurk, Abishek Porel and captain Axar Patel. 

Senior wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul subsequently forged an unbeaten 111-run partnership with Tristan Stubbs to take Capitals past RCB’s 163 with six wickets and more than two overs to spare.

As far as Vipraj Nigam is concerned, the Delhi Capitals star has collected five wickets in four innings this IPL 2025 season. He will now go up against Mumbai Indians in match 29 of the season on April 13.
