India's victory parade at Mumbai (X.com)
Former Indian player and current NCA chief VVS Laxman hailed India's T20 World Cup victory parade, believing the event united people and brought a lot of joy.
The Indian team reached New Delhi on Tuesday night and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the meeting, the world cup-winning players went to Mumbai, where the parade was arranged.
In Mumbai, Indian players paraded in an open bus from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium, the iconic venue where India won the 2011 ODI World Cup. Thousands of fans gathered at Marine Drive to celebrate India's triumph with the players.

After reaching Wankhede, the celebrations continued. The players received 125 crores from the BCCI as prize money, and they shared their experiences and the journey to this World Cup win. Players and the fans sang Vande Mataram together.
Seeing all these celebrations, VVS Laxman took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts and happiness.

India ended their 11-year ICC trophy drought by defeating South Africa in a thrilling final by 7 runs. Virat Kohli and Axar Patel's stellar batting set up a competitive total, while Bumrah, Hardik, and Arshdeep's superb bowling kept South Africa in check.
Suryakumar Yadav's unbelievable catch in the final over sealed the victory. Virat Kohli was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the final.
