Virat Kohli Shares 'Emotional Hug' With Childhood Coach Ahead Of T20 WC Celebrations

Virat Kohli took time out of his incredibly tight celebration schedule on July 4 to meet his childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma after the victory parade at the Wankhede stadium.

On Thursday, July 4, as the Indian team reached the homeland in the early hours of the day, they received a grand ovation at the Delhi airport and the hotel before meeting the Prime Minister during the day. The team then flew to Mumbai for the massive open bus victory parade at the Marine Drive on the way to Wankhede.

Virat Kohli, who had to board a flight right after the celebrations made sure that he met his coach, Rajkumar Sharma at the Wankhede before the team went out and celebrated the win on a grand scale.

Kohli talked about his feelings, experiences and receiving the 125 crore cheque from the BCCI office bearers.

His coach, Sharma had also heaped praises for Kohli after the veteran announced his retirement from the T20Is after the final, calling it a good decision for focusing on his Test career. Following the celebrations, Virat straightaway made way to the airport for a flight to go and meet his wife, Anushka and children, Vamika and Aakay.
