T20 World Cup is approaching and Indian audiences will miss the stadium atmosphere this time as the  matches are at USA and West Indies. 

However, PVR Inox Group has introduced an alternative, offering viewers the chance to experience the game in stadium-like environments at their theaters. But important to note only specific games will be screened in theaters. 

PVR Inox  to screen matches 

After facing a net quarterly loss of Rs 130 crore ($15.6 million), PVR Inox is expanding its entertainment options with concerts, sports, and alternative events to attract more people. As part of this, they've decided to screen the upcoming cricket World Cup, which has huge audience.

PVR Inox will selectively screen World Cup T20 games due to their shorter duration compared to 50-over matches. They believe this will appeal to a larger audience as most games happens during the prime hours.

With the IPL frenzy gripping the Indian audience, cricket fans across the country are eagerly anticipating the T20 World Cup starting in June. 

PVR Inox has made a strategic move by screening World Cup matches at their screens, providing fans with the opportunity to enjoy the games in a stadium-like atmosphere alongside fellow enthusiasts.

The India-Pakistan match on June 9th is set to be a colossal game, drawing in a massive fans. Many fans are expected to gather for big screenings, and PVR Inox is poised to capitalize on this lucrative business opportunity.
