Prominent Pakistan keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has invited trouble by committing a controversial act during the recently held bilateral T20I series against Ireland. Rizwan, who performed admirably with the bat in the series, was seen signing on a poster in solidarity with Pakistan's former captain as well as Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Notably, Imran Khan, who was elected as Pakistan's Prime Minister, was sentenced to prison by the current Government for illegally selling state gifts.

However, being arguably the greatest cricketer the nation has ever produced, Imran is significantly popular among the masses for his incredible leadership attributes.

He has an enormous fan following in the country as he led the Men in Green to their only ODI World Cup title in 1992.

So, despite being arrested, Imran is still considered a cult hero in Pakistan, and several prominent personalities have demanded his release.

Rizwan seems to be in favour of Imran's release as his act synchronises with the national sentiment.

Talking about the series, Pakistan recorded a convincing two-one win over Ireland, riding on clinical performances from their batters and bowlers in the final two fixtures.

After losing the first match, the visitors made a remarkable comeback, defeating the hosts convincingly in the next two games.
