As per emerging reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board is all set to revamp the men's T20I team following the disastrous T20 World Cup campaign. Led by Babar Azam, Pakistan failed to qualify for the Super Eights in the marquee event following heart-breaking defeats against India and the United States.

No mercy for Shadab, Amir & Azam Khan in T20Is

According to a reputed Pakistani journalist, the apex body will bring significant changes to the T20I setup after the World Cup debacle in the United States and Caribbean.

He claimed that several senior players- Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Azam Khan and Mohammad Nawaz- will likely be dropped from the T20Is.

Meanwhile, Pakistan might back young guns, particularly Mohammad Haris, Aamer Jamal, Salman Ali Agha, Abrar Ahmed and Shahnawaz Dahani- for the shortest format.

According to sources, questions have also been raised over Haris Rauf's place as he has blown hot and cold with the ball in recent times.

PCB sacks Razzaq and Wahab

Following Pakistan's abysmal World Cup campaign, the PCB sacked ex-players Abdul Razzaq and Wahab Riaz from the men's selection committee on Tuesday.

The step was taken after head coach Gary Kirsten and his deputy Azhar Mehmood submitted their report, accusing both of favouritism and mismanagement, leading to the team's non-performance.
