The veteran Proteas pacer made talismanic Pakistani allrounder Shahid Afridi his victim in the high-scoring game between Pakistan Champions and South Africa Champions. 

The incident occurred during the 15th over of Pakistan Champions innings when they were racing towards a massive total. 

Bowling the third over of his spell, Steyn had a remarkable start as he initially kept the Pakistani batters under the pump. 

After conceding a solitary run in his first four balls, Steyn bowled a well-disguised slow ball to deceive Afridi. 

As the swashbuckling batter tried to muscle the ball towards the leg side, the slow ball outfoxed him, disturbing the furniture. 

Regarding the match, South Africa Champions secured a clinical nine-wicket victory, riding on exceptional knocks from Sarel Erwee and Jacques Snyman. 

Chasing a mammoth target of 211 runs, the Proteas lost JP Duminy cheaply before Snyman and Erwee stitched a scintillating unbeaten stand to guide them to glory.
