James Anderson plays his final Test match for England as they take on the traveling West Indies at the Lord's from July 10 to 14 and as a throwback, BBC has posted a video from 2003 where Anderson is seen packing for his debut.

Anderson set for grand finale at Lord's

James Anderson who stepped out at The Lord's for his 188th Test on Wednesday, July 10, has announced to bring down the curtain on his illustrious 22-year international career where he became the highest wicket-taking pacer, sitting on 700 wickets with potentially two innings to go.

Looking back at his incredible longevity, BBC has posted a video where the English great is seen packing for his first Test in 2003 against Zimbabwe at the same venue where he is set to retire at. In the video, his sister is also seen talking about his hard work and determination and saying that he gets what he wants.

The pacer, who had then already made his ODI debut can be heard speaking on the call where he mentions about the overwhelming feeling of being in the England dressing room after coming from, in his words, "nowhere".

With his 700 wickets at the time of writing, the speedster sits 3rd behind Muttiah Muralitharan's 800 and Shane Warne's 708. He also broke Glenn McGrath's long standing 563 wicket record a few years back when he became the highest wicket taking fast bowler.

After 188 Tests, the soon to be 42-year-old will finish his career with second most Tests played behind Sachin Tendulkar's 200 matches.
