Anderson, who made his debut for England in 2003 against Zimbabwe at the same venue, has been a cornerstone of the team for over two decades. His journey comes full circle as he concludes his international career at Lord's.

Throughout his illustrious Test career, Anderson has played a pivotal role for England, participating in 187 Test matches and taking 700 wickets—a feat unmatched by any fast bowler and surpassed only by spinners. As Anderson steps onto the field for his 188th and final Test, England won the toss and opted to bowl first against West Indies. The match not only marks the end of an era for Anderson but also signifies a significant moment for English cricket.
