In an extraordinary innings, former RCB hitter Mahipal Lomror slammed a magnificent triple century against Uttarakhand in a Ranji Trophy fixture. Batting for Rajasthan, Lomror brought up his 300 in just 360 balls as his team raced to 660/7 by tea break on day 2. This inning has come just days before the IPL 2025 mega auction is scheduled to go on floors.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) retained just 3 players at the retention deadline. Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Yash Dayal found a place whereas the likes of Mohammad Siraj, Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis were released from the squad.

However, Mahipal Lomror successfully grabbed the IPL franchises attention with a sensational performance in the most recent Ranji Trophy game against Uttarakhand. Coming off a century against Hyderabad in the previous game, Lomror raised the bar with a triple ton against Uttarakhand.
Rajasthan were batting first at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun and Lomror scored a ton at the end of Day 1. He beautifully converted it into a triple century on Day 2 in what turned out to be a marathon run of 300* off 360 balls at tea break. The knock consisted of 25 fours and 13 sixes, while the strike rate was maintained at around 80-100 throughout the inning.
