Team India escaped with a fighting draw against England on Day 5 of the fourth Test of the five-match series. The BCCI is reportedly upset with the coaching staff as well as with chief selector Ajit Agarkar. Ravindra Jadeja, Sundar Tons Help India Escape With A Draw

India’s spin bowling all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar both conjured fighting centuries on Day 5 of the Old Trafford Test in Manchester against England. Forming forces at 222-4 at a time when the Indian team still found itself another 89 runs away from avoiding an innings defeat, the two cricketers went on to craft an unbroken 203-run partnership for the fifth wicket by batting out the remainder of the day.

Jadeja reached 107* off 185 balls to notch up his fifth Test century, and his fifth fifty-plus score of the series. Washington Sundar, on the other hand, reached 101* to list his maiden Test hundred.

BCCI Upset With Ajit Agarkar, Likely To Axe Morkel

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly unhappy with India's chief selector Ajit Agarkar over various selection policies in the ongoing Test series in England. Moreover, the Indian board might also axe Indian bowling coach Morne Morkel and assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate, after the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup later this year.

According to The Telegraph, the BCCI has been irked over the benching of Kuldeep Yadav and Abhimanyu Easwaran from the entire series so far against England.

Tilak Varma To Lead South Zone In Duleep Trophy 2025

Indian cricketer and Mumbai Indians star Tilak Varma is set to lead the South Zone team in the upcoming 2025 Duleep Trophy season. The 15-member squad of the South Zone team comprises of four Kerala cricketers, including Mohammed Azharuddeen, Salman Nazir, MD Nidheesh and Nedumankuzhy Basil.

Devdutt Padikkal has also been included in the squad alongside fellow Karnataka cricketer Vijaykumar Vyshak. The 2025 Duleep Trophy will commence from August 28 in Bengaluru.

AB De Villiers Unleashes 39-Ball Ton In WCL 2025

Former South African captain AB de Villiers unleashed a 39-ball century against Australia Champions in match 12 of the WCL 2025 season. Opening the innings for South Africa Champions, the cricketer tonked 123 runs off just 46 balls with 15 fours and eight huge sixes in Leeds to record his second century of the tournament as his team mounted 241-6 from 20 overs.

Imran Tahir (3-27) and Aaron Phangiso (4-13) picked up seven wickets between them to derail the Australia Champions run-chase for just 146 in 16.4 overs as South Africa won the match by 95 runs.

Green, Maxwell, Inglis Blaze Australia To 4-0 Lead

The Australian cricket team, inspired from half-centuries by Cameron Green and Josh Inglis, bulldozed West Indies in the fourth T20I to take a 4-0 lead in the five-match series. Chasing 206 runs, Glenn Maxwell started off with an explosive 18-ball 47* before Green and Inglis took charge in the innings.

Earlier in the match, Australian fast bowlers Aaron Hardie, Xavier Bartlett and Sean Abbott picked up two wickets each while ace spinner Adam Zampa snared figures of 3-54 as West Indies made 205-9 from 20 overs.
