In doing so, KL Rahul became the 16th Indian cricketer to aggregate 9,000 or more runs across all international formats. Ben Stokes Claims Huge All-Rounder Record
England captain Ben Stokes hammered down 141 runs off just 198 balls after resuming his innings at 77* on Day 4 of the Manchester Test against India. The legendary all-rounder belted 11 fours and three huge sixes to record his 14th Test century. Notably, Stokes also became only the fifth captain in Test history to pick up a five-wicket haul and score a century in the same Test match. Asia Cup 2025 Schedule Confirmed By ACC
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chief Mohsin Naqvi released the entire schedule of the upcoming 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup, set to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) later this year. As per the schedule, the tournament will be played between September 9 and September 28, and the multi-nation event will serve as a testing ground for competing nations ahead of next year’s 2026 T20 World Cup.
Team India, placed in Group A, will face hosts UAE on September 10 before going up against Pakistan and Oman on September 14 and September 19 respectively. As one can expert, the official confirmation drew widespread outrage among Indian fans, in light of India’s prevailing geo-political tensions with age-old rivals Pakistan.
