Champions Trophy 2025 will take place in February 2025, hosted by Pakistan. The PCB is hosting an ICC event after a long time, and they have pushed PSL last in the priority list.

Notably, Pakistan's premier franchise T20 league take place in February, but their window has been pushed because of the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. Further, there are reports that PSL 10 might clash with IPL 2025, which will take place in the last week of March.

There are reports that PSL 10 might take place from April 10 to May 25 with six teams participating.

PSL Team Owners Write Letter To PSL's New Head Of Affairs

According to the report, the team owners recently sent a joint letter congratulating Salman Naseer on his new role and expressed their concerns. Notably, they have asked the board to get in touch with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to discuss the possibility of England's players for PSL 10.

It is worth noting that recently, the ECB hinted at not allowing players to play foreign leagues during domestic season except IPL. Recently, there were reports that the ECB urged Jofra Archer to withdraw his name from IPL 2025 mega-auction.

Further, the franchise owners want the draft to take place as quickly as possible to secure the services of overseas players. Notably, IPL's mega-auction will take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The letter also reminded the PCB of its earlier promise to establish PSL as a separate company. Franchises have emphasized the need to discuss team valuations and address financial matters to ensure the league's sustainability and growth.
