However, during the T20I series against England, Reddy was diagnosed with a side strain and was sent to BCCI's Centre of excellence in Bengaluru for rehabilitation.

Team India's promising all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has once again captured the attention of fans, not just for his performances on the field but also for his stunning new Instagram post.
The 21-year-old all-rounder posted pictures of his chiselled six-pack abs and an intense workout session. He flaunted his toned physique, and fans appreciated him for his extraordinary fitness levels.
Reddy is slowly recovering from his injury. However, BCCI has yet to issue an update on his availability for the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was retained by SRH for INR 6 crore before the mega auction took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Reddy took a pay cut for IPL 2025 to help SRH
Despite a breakout year and a maiden international century, Nitish Reddy made headlines by agreeing to an INR 6 crore salary for IPL 2025. With his stellar performances, including 303 runs and three wickets in IPL 2024, he even clinched the Emerging Player of the Season award.
However, the all-rounder did so for Heinrich Klaasen. The South African star was SRH's top priority, commanding a hefty INR 23 crore salary, which exceeded the BCCI's standard pay bracket.
To balance their purse value, SRH management reportedly requested Reddy to accept an INR 5 crore pay cut from his expected salary of INR 11 crore. Reddy agreed to the reduced pay to stay with the franchise that backed him during his early IPL days.
