Namibia locked horns with Australia in match 24 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on Tuesday, June 11 as they got bowled out by the Australians for 72 runs in 17 overs, making it the lowest total against the Aussies in the shortest format.

The Aussies asked Namibia to bat first at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and went on an onslaught with the ball. Adam Zampa led the charge with a Player of The Match performance of 4/12 in his 4 overs. Josh Hazelwood and Marcus Stoinis scalped two each for just 18 and 9 runs respectively and Pat Cummins and Nathan Ellis dismissed one each.

After chasing down the target against the Africans, Australia became just the second team after South Africa to have sealed their Super Eights spot with three wins on a trot against Oman, England and Namibia. They will face Scotland in the final group game at the Gros Islet in St. Lucia on June 14.
