Adam Zampa has been in some commendable form as has scalped 31 wickets in 17 matches in the history of the T20 World Cup. The leg-spinner has scalped 100 wickets in 83  matches in T20I and in ODI's he has taken 169 wickets in 99 matches.

Adam Zampa Completes 100th Wicket In T20 International

Adam Zampa secured his 100th T20I wicket with a classic delivery, as he dismissed Bernard Scholtz. The leg-spinner bowled a flighted googly outside off, and Scholtz, attempted a cover drive, that left a significant gap between his bat and pad.

The ball sneaked through and hit the stumps. Zampa concluded his spell with impressive figures of 4/12, that highlighted his effectiveness and skill in the match.

Adam Zampa has had a stellar run in international cricket recently, especially taking a look at his performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup. His 23 wickets in 11 matches placed him as the second-highest wicket-taker of the tournament, trailing only behind India's Mohammed Shami.

Zampa's journey in T20 World Cups began in 2016 in India, where he debuted as a promising 23-year-old. However, it was in the 2021 edition that he truly made his mark, finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker with 13 wickets in seven matches.

His continued excellence in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 edition only adds to his impressive legacy, which demonstrated his growth and sustained performance as a top-tier leg-spinner on the global stage.
