Bumrah is the greatest white-ball bowler: Vaughan
Former England captain and cricket analyst Michael Vaughan lauded Bumrah's performance, calling him the greatest white-ball seamer ever.
"He is obviously a great bowler who plans to ball against all the different batters but you still got to have the skill sets and you've got to know when to bowl which delivery," Vaughan said.
"I honestly think he's the best seam ball bowler who has played white-ball cricket."
Heinrich Klaasen played a monstrous innings, scoring 24 runs off an over from Axar Patel, which brought South Africa's equation down to needing a run a ball to win in the last five overs.
However, Bumrah, along with Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh, clinched the game for India. It was Bumrah's overs that truly made the difference.
Michael Vaughan compared Jasprit Bumrah to Wasim Akram, one of the greatest white-ball bowlers of all time. Vaughan is impressed with Bumrah's variations, action, and his ability to deliver in clutch situations.
Jasprit Bumrah was named the Player of the Tournament, taking 15 wickets with an extraordinary economy rate of 4.17 and an average of 8.26. This exceptional performance earned him the player of the series award.
