The Indian team was all worked up before the match Super Eight match against Australia. With revenge for 19th November 2023 in mind, Team India walked out to bat after losing the toss.

The skipper, Rohit Sharma, set the stage with a blistering knock, scoring 92 off 41. The platform, led by Rohit, helped India achieve a formidable total of 205/5 in their 20 overs.

In the chase, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh built a great partnership, and it was looking like Australia would take the game from India's grasp. However, Kuldeep Yadav brought India back into the game with the wickets of Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell. These two wickets changed the complexion of the game, leading to an important Indian win by 24 runs.

4. Rashid Khan vs Bangladesh - 4/23 (4 Overs)

The final game in the Super Eight stage against Bangladesh was a must-win for Afghanistan to qualify for the semis. The batting did not go the way they would have expected. Afghanistan managed to only 115/5 in their 20 overs.

In the chase, Litton Das held one end for Bangladesh, and even though wickets were falling, it looked like the Tigers would easily get past the target. But Rashid Khan started a collapse that left Bangladesh without a reply. He picked up four wickets for just 23 runs and broke the backbone of the Bangladeshi batting. The whole middle-order was left enchanted by Rashid Khan's magic as they went on to win the game by 10 runs and book a berth in the semi-final for the first time in T20 World Cups.

India were up against England in the second semi-final of the tournament. The memories of the 2022 T20 WC was quite fresh in the minds of the Indian cricket fans.

India might not have felt safe even after posting 171 runs in their 20 overs while batting first. The power in the English batting should have given them the scare. But Axar Patel decided to deal with things with the ball. He picked up the wickets of Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, and Moeen Ali, giving England early jolts, which they failed to recover. Axar Patel's lethal spell turned out to be a game-changer for India, paving their way into the summit clash of the tournament.

The Afghan medium-pacer came up with one of the most memorable spells in the T20 World Cup history. The Rashid Khan-led were defending 148 runs in the game. Though Australia struggled a bit, it looked like they would get past the line, especially with Glenn Maxwell still in the crease. But Gulbadin Naib had something different in mind. Naib not only dismissed the ominous-looking Maxwell but also picked up the wickets of Stonis and David, putting Afghanistan in the driver's seat. He added the cherry on the cake with the wicket of Cummins and ended the resilience of Australian batting.

Jasprit Bumrah, the Player of The Tournament, had been outstanding throughout. He gave more than impactful and memorable performances through out the World Cup. But his 2/18 in the final stands out as the best in the tournament.

The figures might not look the best, but the occasion and the way he changed the game on its head in the 16th over is beyond explanation. He has been the man of the moment on multiple occasions during India's dream run and rightly deserves a spot at the top of this chart.
