Indian veteran leg-spinner, Poonam Yadav has recently made a complaint of fraud in her purchase of a 1.5 crore land in Kundaul, Fatehabad. Raghuvir Singh, her father, has suspected that the administrative officials of conspiring alongside land mafias to have manipulated the important papers from the records.

Ahead of Indian women playing South African women in India, the Arjuna Award Awardee has found herself in the middle of a controversy where she has complained about a land mafia trying to exploit vital paperwork while also expressing her disappointment regarding the matter.

Recently, during the Holi festivities, the land was reportedly also illegally taken under possession by the mafia by putting a lock and had to be required with the help of local police.

On the other hand, the Indian player and her father have also been accused of trying to acquire the land unlawfully. However, the district officials have confirmed that no formal complaints have been filed and remain open for investigating any complaint.

Both the parties in the discussion look forward to the resolution of the matter at the earliest.

The Railways captain who has played 58 ODIs, 72 T20Is and 1 Test for the country had last played an international match for India in March 2022 against Bangladesh during the World Cup in Hamilton while she continues playing domestic cricket.

After a recently concluded series against Bangladesh, the Indian women will be hosting South Africa women from June 16, however, Poonam Yadav doesn't feature in any of the squads.
