As Team India gears up to play their warm-up game against Bangladesh in New York on Saturday , fleeting reports have confirmed that Virat Kohli was not a part of the practice session before the warm up match and is likely to miss this game too.

Moreover, only Rishabh Pant and Rinku Singh were seen batting in the nets today during the optional practice session on the eve of India versus Bangladesh warm-up game.

Furthermore, it has been understood that the reason behind his absence from the game is that he has landed in the United States on Friday, making it difficult for him to participate in the warm-up clash due to travel fatigue and jet lag.

The 35-year-old stunner, left for the USA along with his wife, Anushka Sharma, only recently unlike the Indian cricket team that traveled last week for the 2024 T20 World Cup.

On a side note, Virat Kohli has had a stupendous IPL 2024 season, the Orange Cap winner has amassed 741 runs in 15 games and hence, his readiness for the T20 World Cup is not a concern at the moment because he already looks in fine touch.

Meanwhile, India will begin their T20 World Cup campaign on June 5 against Ireland.
