India Vs Pakistan In Dubai As ICC Announce Revamped Schedule Of Women's T20 World Cup 2024

ICC has unveiled the revamped schedule of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 that has been recently shifted from Bangladesh to United Arab Emirates. There are some minor changes in the schedule of the competition, with tournament now set to kick-off with Bangladesh and Scotland encounter on 3rd of October.

The marquee clash between India and Pakistan will be held in Dubai on 6th of October, but the groups are the same that were revealed in the previous schedule by ICC. 

Sri Lanka and Scotland qualified for the World Cup via the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier and the Asia Cup winners are placed with Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Group A.

Scotland, on the other hand, have joined England, South Africa, West Indies and Bangladesh. Top two teams from both the groups will qualify for the semis. The dates of India's matches have not been changed with India starting off the tournament with a clash against New Zealand at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 4th of October.

However, there are some changes in the schedule of other teams with final league game now to be played between England and West Indies. 

The dates of the semifinals have not changed though, and if India qualify for the semis, it will play the first one on 17th of October at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. 

The second semifinal will be played on 18th of October in Dubai and the final will be also played on the same ground on 20th of October.

Australia are the defending champions, while South Africa are the runners-up, and there will be 10 warm-up matches as which will be played between 28th of September to 1st of October.
