Manish Pandey-led Hubli Tigers are up against Mangaluru Dragons in the 23rd match of Maharaja Trophy 2024. Hubli Tigers scored 209 while batting first and in reply, Mangaluru started off on an aggressive mode with their openers starting off with some fantastic clean hits.

Rohan Patil was one of the openers, and came in as an Impact player. He could not convert his start, but his knock of 25 off 18 balls did provide an early boost and it included a six off Manvanth Kumar in the final over of the Powerplay. It was a touch shortish delivery on off, but Patil picked the length quickly and pulled it all the way over deep mid-wicket for a maximum.

It brought a bit of tension on the face of Manish Pandey, but he is an experienced captain and soon Hubli Tigers got the big wicket of Rohan Patil in the seventh over.

Earlier for Hubli Tigers, KL Shrijith smashed 77 off just 44 balls, but it was Aneeshwar Gautam who launched a brutal attack with his 95 off 58 balls to put defending champions in a strong position at the halfway mark.
