ICC names match officials for India vs South Africa Women’s World Cup final

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the list of all match officials for India’s upcoming Women’s World Cup 2025 final against South Africa Women. The high-octane contest will be hosted by the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, November 2.

Both India and South Africa teams will be chasing their first-ever World Cup title, after defeating Australia and England respectively in the semifinals of the tournament earlier this week.

ICC recall semifinal officials for IND vs SA Final

The ICC has named Eloise Sheridan and Jacquline Williams as the two on-field umpires for the upcoming 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup final match between South Africa and hosts India. Both Sheridan and Williams also recently oversaw the first semifinal of the tournament earlier this week, where South Africa walloped England Women by 125 runs at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati.

Moreover, Jacquline Williams was one of the umpires during the league match between India and South Africa earlier in October. South Africa Women won that match in dramatic fashion, eclipsing India’s 251-run total in Vizag despite slipping to 81-5 at one stage of their run-chase.

Apart from Eloise Sheridan and Jacquline Williams, the ICC has also named English cricket umpire Sue Redfern as the third umpire for the final. Joining her would be Sri Lanka’s Nimali Perera as a fourth umpire.

Former Sri Lanka cricketer Michelle Pereira has been named as the match referee of the impending World Cup 2025 final by the ICC. Here is a look at the entire list of all match officials for the India vs South Africa Women’s World Cup final:

The India vs South Africa final will be played on Sunday, November 2 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The action will commence from 3:00 PM IST onwards in the afternoon.
