Abhishek Sharma creates multiple records with first T20I fifty in Australia
The swashbuckling left-handed batter got to his fifty off just 23 balls. It is his seventh fifty in 25 or fewer balls in T20Is, which is joint most with three other batters among full member nations. Suryakumar Yadav is other Indian who has seven fifties in 25 or fewer balls in T20Is, while Phil Salt and Evin Lewis have achieved the landmark for England and the West Indies, respectively.
Abhishek Sharma eventually scored 68 off 37 balls, which included eight fours and two sixes. Harshit Rana too gave decent support to Abhishek with his 35, while no other batter could get to a double-digit score.
