In an interesting twist in the tale, the England Test squad led by Ben Stokes has decided to leave India to travel to Abu Dhabi mid-way through the five-game series.

The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma redeemed themselves in Vizag after a humiliating loss in Hyderabad.

The hosts bowled out the Englishmen on 292 runs earlier today to secure a comprehensive 106-run victory. With that, the men in blue leveled the five-game series by 1-1 and will now head into a long 10-day break before the third Test commences in Rajkot.

Having said that, in a major turn of events, the English squad has reportedly decided to depart India abruptly in the middle of the series.

England to travel to Abu Dhabi: Reports

As per reports, the Englishmen will travel to Abu Dhabi for the 10-day break. They wish to take a break from the madness of cricketing action and spend quality time elsewhere to rejuvenate.

Notably, England traveled to Abu Dhabi weeks before the Hyderabad Test to participate in a training camp. The visitors arrived in Hyderabad just three days before the scheduled game.

That being said, the exact reason for England's abrupt departure is still unknown. However, as per reports, the Ben Stokes-led side will arrive in Rajkot a few days before the scheduled third Test.

On the flip side, the Indian squad is most likely to travel to Rajkot straight from Vizag and spend the off days together as a unit.

It's important to note that the BCCI has yet to confirm a squad for the rest of the series. The prolonged break will help the selectors get clarity on the availability of several injured and unavailable players.

On the other hand, the England cricket team has a chance to figure out its shortcomings, and a change of scenery could prove to be refreshing amid a tight schedule.
