Pakistani fast bowling maverick Shaheen Afridi hosted a Q&A session on his Twitter space to interact with fans ahead of the PSL season, and during the conversation, he talked about his wife, Ansha Afridi, and how she has been a constant support system.

Shaheen Afridi has been the backbone of the Pakistan cricket team for a while now. His bowling prowess raked the cricket world as Afridi terrorized opposition with his lethal spells with the new ball.

Having said that, the last few months have been rough for the entire Pakistan cricket team, let alone Shaheen Afridi. The men in green were knocked out of the ODI World Cup and suffered humiliating defeats against Australia and New Zealand shortly after.

Regardless, ahead of the T20 World Cup, newly minted shorter format captain Shaheen Afridi is committed to turning things around.

Meanwhile, ahead of the PSL season, Afridi hosted a Q&A session on his Twitter space earlier today to interact with fans.

A fan posed a query about his married life with former legendary Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi’s daughter, Ansha Afridi.

Shaheen says Ansha is an extremely loving partner. She has been a friend and a partner with whom he plans to spend the rest of his life together. Not only that, the speedster says he can even cook for her if she asks him to in the future.

Shaheen Afridi married Ansha in a private Nikah ceremony last year. The fast bowler got hitched at the young age of 22. However, he was sure about settling down with Ansha since he had strong feelings for her.

That being said, Afridi will lead his side, Lahore Qalandars, in the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled for later this month.

Lahore is the defending champions, and Afridi has an opportunity to script history by securing a hat trick of title wins in 2024.
