Starting eight to ten matches will have restricted availability of England's premier cricketers due to a clash with the international schedule, as the men's side will be facing the West Indies side in Test cricket until 30th July. However, there is no such problem for women as they would be clear of all international matches.

The eight-team tournament will have a total of 34 matches, including the eliminator and finals, which will be played after the completion of the group stage on 15th August.
