The upcoming IPL 2025 mega-auctions have kept everyone on their toes. With the retention list set to be released on October 31st, the excitement has further escalated. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see which players their favourite franchise will retain ahead of the IPL 2025 season.

Adding their own zest to this, a recent tweet by Chennai Super Kings has created a buzz amongst fans. The post seemingly hinted at their retentions for the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. 

In the post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the official handle of the Chennai-based franchise made a cryptic post. They shared a series of emojis and wrote, 'The ones you seek is seeking you!'. The enthusiastic fans on social media were quick to decode the post by highlighting how each of the emoji reveals the players they will retain in the 2025 edition.



CSK Likely To Retain Gaikwad,Dube, Dhoni, Jadeja And Pathirana

As per the fans, the first line of emojis, including the fire and star emoji, hint at the retention of CSK's skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad. The power and anchor emoji are likely for Shivam Dube. The rocket and target emoji suggest the retention of 'yorker-master' from Sri Lanka for CSK, Matheestha Pathirana. 

And, of course, the fourth line could not be any clearer for fans as it has a helicopter emoji highlighting the retention of MS Dhoni, the inventor of the helicopter shot. And lastly, CSK's Thalapathy Ravindra Jadeja is represented by a sword and horse emoticon.
