Injured fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has apparently started bowling in the nets at the NCA. In a video circulating around social media, the speedster can be spotted bowling in the presence of a couple of NCA officials to strengthen rumours of his impending return to competitive cricket.
Bumrah is yet to play a single professional match ever since he sustained a back injury during the final Test of India’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy tour of Australia back in January this year. As a result, the cricketer missed the entirety of India’s white-ball home series against England, and was ruled out of his team’s title-winning Champions Trophy 2025 run in the UAE. At the moment, it remains to be seen when he will receive a fitness clearance from the NCA to play IPL 2025 matches for the Mumbai Indians.
