India To Tour Australia For 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is in October
Both the Indian men's and women's cricket teams will be touring Australia during this period. The Indian men’s team will play a total of eight white-ball matches - three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20 Internationals (T20Is) - between October 19 and November 8, 2025. These matches will take place across eight different venues in Australia.
After facing India, Australia will gear up for the highly anticipated Ashes series against England. The schedule ensures that Australia’s star players have enough time to recover between the India series and the Ashes.
Cricket Australia also confirmed that for the first time ever, international men's matches will be played in every Australian state and territory. This means that Canberra and Hobart will host some of India’s T20 matches.
Apart from the India series, Australia have a packed schedule in the second half of 2025. Before taking on India, they will play a white-ball series against South Africa in August, which includes three ODIs and three T20Is.
Since the T20 World Cup is set to take place in India and Sri Lanka in February-March 2026, Australia is focusing more on T20 cricket. They will also play T20I series in New Zealand in October and Pakistan in February 2026 to fine-tune their preparations.
