CSK Star Aiming To Expand Shoe Business Post IPL 2024

Indian cricketer and aspiring entrepreneur Deepak Chahar is aiming to cash in on his IPL 2024 presence for the CSK franchise to expand his shoe business. 

Back in September 2023, the star all-rounder launched his own sports brand 'DNINE Sports', just a few months after he launched his fantasy sports app Trade Fantasy Game.

Chahar is now set to add a new range of running shoes under DNINE Sports sometime towards the concluding stages of this year’s IPL 2024 season.


Deepak Chahar to don DNINE shoes in IPL 2024

Deepak Chahar recently stated that he is aiming to expand the range of DNINE Sports products by launching new running shoes towards the end of this year’s IPL 2024 season.

While speaking with Moneycontrol, CSK’s IPL 2024-bound cricketer said:“We are entering the bigger market of running shoes and the market is huge for this. We will be launching running shoes just around the end of the IPL.”

As of now, Deepak Chahar is gearing up for the IPL 2024 season, which will also mark his return to competitive cricket for the first time since December 2023. He recently led CSK’s training session in Tamil Nadu as part of their pre-season preparations.

Chahar was ruled out of action after he sustained an injury during India’s home T20I series against Australia. The 31-year-old has now declared himself fully fit after working his way towards attaining recovery at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

The fast bowler was retained by the CSK franchise back in November 2023 alongside the likes of senior teammates MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja during the IPL 2024 retention phase.

CSK will be commencing their IPL 2024 campaign in the opening game of the tournament itself by going up against the RCB.
