CSK Blood Rachin Ravindra Spotted Training At Super Kings Academy Ahead Of AFG vs NZ Test

New Zealand's star batter Rachin Ravindra was recently spotted training at the Super Kings Academy ahead of their Test against Afghanistan. His fellow teammate Ben Sears was also spotted batting it out in the nets in Tamil Nadu. The one-off Test vs Afghanistan is slated to begin from September 9 onwards at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground.

Ravindra, who has been acquired by Chennai Super Kings in the 2024 IPL auctions, was a steal deal of the season. However, failed to deliver the expected dazzle in the tournament. 



While New Zealand are set to play India in a three-match Test series, starting October 16, after their one-off Test against Afghanistan. Later in the year, the Blackcaps are scheduled to travel to Sri Lanka to play three T20Is and three ODIs.

Rachin Ravindra's Performances For New Zealand

Rachin Ravindra has grown in importance in the New Zealand lineup. His best contribution came at the last ODI World Cup in India. He made his Test debut for New Zealand in November 2021 during the Test series against India. 

Interestingly, he was the fourth batter to convert a maiden century into a double century in the recent Test series against South Africa. As New Zealand start their sub-continent tour, all eyes would be upon Ravindra to make out if he can keep the momentum going.
